Dedicated to Munda, whose words helped ignite the branding vision of Ginga Cottage.

Before labels existed, our product was shared simply and organically. We would make the ginga beeya and drop it off at a local barbershop. Munda was one of the regular customers there. He bought the product, enjoyed it, and spoke highly of it.

On June 20, 2014, he asked a question on social media that became a turning point. “Aisha, this ginger is heaven. When are we branding it?”

That single message became a catalyst. It pushed the vision beyond selling a product and into building a brand rooted in purpose, identity, and legacy.

This box is dedicated to Mr. Munda James for his inspiration and support in ways he may never have imagined, and for helping spark the journey of Ginga Cottage becoming more than ginger juice in a barbershop.
